The beautiful lion depicted in this image lives at
The Yorkshire Wildlife Park.He was one of thirteen lions rescued from the appalling conditions they were living in at the Oradea Zoo Romania.
He now has a wonderful home at the wildlife park near Doncaster where I spent a fantastic day fliming and sketching lots of animals and birds.I have found a new and exciting way of using Biro pen I now draw onto Pastel Velour paper and highlight various areas with colour pencil. This is my first picture using this technique please look out for more.
